H.W. Kaufman Group Promotes 11 Associates Across North America

Farmington Hills, Mich. (November 2, 2023) – H.W. Kaufman Group, a privately held global insurance organization, announced promotions for 11 associates throughout North America. These promotions come following the company’s annual Kaufman Leadership Meeting of its family of companies where leaders gather to celebrate their accomplishments, discuss the past year, and strategically plan for the new year ahead.

Three of the most prominent promotions this year are for Mark Engel, who was promoted to Senior Vice President, Managing Director, RB Jones, from Corporate Vice President, Managing Director, RB Jones Marine & Energy; David Janis, who was promoted to Corporate Vice President, General Counsel, H.W. Kaufman Group, from General Counsel, H.W. Kaufman Group; and Tyson Peel, who was promoted to Regional Vice President, Managing Director, Burns & Wilcox Canada, from Vice President, Director, Commercial Insurance, Burns & Wilcox Canada.

  • Laura Baker promoted to Associate Vice President, Producer Development, H.W. Kaufman Group, from Director, Producer Development, H.W. Kaufman Group
  • Patricia Chiodo promoted to Associate Vice President, HR Business Partner, Burns & Wilcox Canada, from Director, HR Business Partner, Burns & Wilcox Canada

  • Yuri Petrasz promoted to Associate Managing Director, Burns & Wilcox, from Manager, Commercial Insurance, Burns & Wilcox
  • Dario Nalli promoted to Senior Director, Digital Business Development, H.W. Kaufman Group, from Director, Digital Business Development, H.W. Kaufman Group
